Information on South Orlando Soccer Club’s Competitive and Premier Programming

SOSC’s Competitive program is divided into 4 tiers:

  • Premier
  • Green
  • White
  • Gray

Depending on if/when we are permitted to return to play for Spring 2020, we anticipate our fall season and training to begin July 27, 2020.  This may be subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The typical fall season begins at the end of July and continues through mid-October and the spring season restarts in early January and runs through the beginning of May, but some teams may still have some practice, games, or tournaments after this.

Are you interested in a Tryout or ID Session for a SOSC Competitive Team – If you have any questions, please contact our Competitive Director, Miguel Gallardo compdirector@southorlandosoccer.com

Age groups: 2006-2002

High school soccer presents a unique challenge to year-round soccer. SOSC is committed to having our players join and excel in their high school soccer experience and to create a truly all-around balanced soccer player. The high school season generally begins in mid-October through early February.  If the high school soccer season remains the same as in previous years and is not affected by the pandemic, the SOSC spring season will begin February 8th for 2006-2002 teams. However, some teams may return sooner or later depending on the number of players still participating in their school.

For players not playing on high school soccer teams, and for our 8th-grade players who are on our 2006 teams, there will be group training through November 20th, with a break for winter and group training will begin again starting January 11th until high school season ends and regular team sessions begin.

Age groups: 2013-2007

These teams will end November 20 for winter break (teams may still have occasional practices/games/tournaments during this period based on field availability)  Spring season begins January 11th and traditionally ends in May, but some teams may still have some practice, games or tournaments after this.
